Qualifications: Formula for Success

These skills and experiences will make you a good fit for this role:

  • Associate's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in technical drafting or design.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience with 3D modeling and design drafting software.
  • Previous experience in the construction industry and/or a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work with various departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to learn quickly with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Complete all work in conformance with Company and Department ISO 9001 policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Possess the legal right to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship.

Principal Responsibilities

This is a high-level overview of the role we need you to fill for us:

Primary responsibility of this role is to ensure projects are complete in accordance with customer expectations, estimates, contract documents, specifications, and company standards. Produce CAD designs and drawings for expansion joint systems, components, and layouts in a timely manner. Provide instructions and interpretations of designs to customers and independently act and respond to technical inquiries.
