Qualifications: Formula for Success

These skills and experiences will make you a good fit for this role:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position and a high school diploma or GED
  • Must have at least one year of experience working with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Must have at least one year of experience using an ERP system; SAP preferred.
  • Must have at least one year of experience related to international shipping documents and terminology.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IMDG / IATA; certification is preferred.
  • Knowledge of USMCA and CUSMA Certificates (Formerly NAFTA) as well as other forms required to move goods internationally is preferred.
  • Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Possess the legal right to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship

Principal Responsibilities

This is a high-level overview of the role we need you to fill for us:

This position is responsible for performing all warehouse scheduling functions, including scheduling all outgoing products, preparing shipping documents for LTL/FTL and Flatbed deliveries, providing shipping estimates to various internal departments, and developing relationships and working closely with carriers to solve shipping/delivery issues. Maintain on-time shipments of all orders in an effort to meet customer expectations and needs. Responsible for understanding and complying with Hazardous Materials Shipment rules and regulations as well as submitting International shipping documents to the proper authorities for approval. This position is also involved in maintaining inventory record accuracy utilizing the Inventory Control Policy and Cycle Counting policies.
