These skills and experiences will make you a good fit for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field is required.
  • Demonstrated progressive growth in sales in commercial construction related companies with five (5) or more years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years of related management experience of internal and/or external sales representatives preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years of related experience on large accounts and project management, driving specifications and conducting presentations to the specifier community preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft applications and demonstrated ability to use a customer relationship management system.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present information to groups of managers/customers.
  • Time management and relationship building skills to lead and motivate third party contractors and vendors to serve as professional sales agents of the wabo® brand.
  • A thorough understanding of contract documents, with ability to independently act and respond to commercial and technical inquiries.
  • Demonstrated technical capabilities to provide product recommendations to consulting engineers and owners through presentations and written proposals.
  • Accountable for sales and profit results on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in assigned territory.
  • Incorporate modern marketing influencing techniques to gain attention and trust of key influencers and customers and leads execution of strategy
  • Manage pipeline development through specification, customer relationship and market reports.
  • Master sector applications, product knowledge, and training for customer and associations, as ambassador of the wabo® brand.
  • Timely and accurate reporting of sales objectives, including forecasting, planning, strategic initiatives, account and business relationship development/management, pre-planning, post order account management and order closing fulfillment. Salesforce experience is preferred.
  • Participation in local industry associations (i.e. AIA, CSI, ICRI)
  • Possess the legal right to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship.

Principal Responsibilities

This is a high-level overview of the role we need you to fill for us:

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for achieving assigned regional sales and profitability plan and maintaining WBA leading sector position through execution of project-specific direct sales activities to contractors, and influencing specification of products by interacting with owners, engineers, and architects. This includes, but is not limited to, timely and accurate reporting of sales objectives, sales forecasting, sales planning, developing specifications, creating relationships with key influencers, and developing/maintaining account and business relationships with existing customers. This role will interface daily with buying customers, engineering and design companies, manage third-party Independent Manufacturer Sales Representatives, Cross Business Line Sales Representatives, and other sales channel partners, and coordinate with WBA Sales Management leadership. This role will also work alongside Marketing, Estimating, Engineering, and Inside Sales staff in the proper recommendation of and closing of products and services sales supplied to the construction industry.
