Territory Sales Manager, Parking, Southern California

We are looking to hire a Territory Sales Manager – Parking & Open-Air Structures to service the Southern California territory.

These skills and experiences will make you a good fit for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field is required.
  • Two (2) years of relevant sales experience preferred; prior experience developing and executing territory sales strategies a plus.
  • Experience in sales forecasting, territory planning, and price management a plus.
  • Experience using sales-related technologies, preferably Salesforce a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present information to groups of managers/customers.
  • Personal accountability, strong time management skills and results oriented with a demonstrated ability to work independently to effectively manage sales growth.
  • Understanding voice of the customer.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Possess the legal right to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship.

Principal Responsibilities

This is a high-level overview of the role we need you to fill for us:

This position will be the voice and initial contact for our company. This position is responsible for increasing sales volume with existing and new customers within the assigned territory. This role will create and execute a comprehensive written plan to achieve the territory sales target to include sales planning and forecasting as well as work in the field. This role will interface with contractors as well as members of the design community (Architects, Engineers, and Consultants). An important element of this position is to work closely with peers, managers, customer service, supply chain, project managers, and other internal functions. As we continue to grow our business, we are looking for someone who will put in the time, effort, and commitment to generate new business in this territory.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize a local sales territory; manage territory to expense budget
  • Project selling utilizing Salesforce.com
  • Forecast product demand
  • Manage pricing for the territory to maximize profitability (volume and margin)
  • Continuously develop contractor network and relationships to establish a primary supply position
  • Develop/ maintain relationships and presence with design professionals to maximize project-specific penetration
  • Facilitate the solution of design/application issues and ensure customers are satisfied with our level of service and support
  • Follow all appropriate Environmental Protection, Safety, Health and Quality (ESHQ) policies
