Watson Bowman Acme Bridge Sector Team has secured significant long-term expansion joint work on what is being called "The Mother of all highway construction projects" in Miami, Florida. Working closely with Archer Western-de Moya, a Joint Venture, on the I-395 Miami Signature Bridge and SR-836/I-95 Pavement Reconstruction Design-Build Project under both FDOT and the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority, the project is expected to extend over the next four years.
Chris Fanning, National Account Manager, and Jeremy Childers, Southeast Regional Sales Manager were successful in securing the significant project in October.
Expansion joints for the first structure will be needed as early as December 2020 and work will continue through 2024. WBA will be supplying over 4,000 LF of Wabo®SiliconeSeal and 3,000 LF of Wabo®StripSeal.
