Wabo®FireShield FSV is watertight, fire-rated, dual-sided and a primary seal for repair, retrofit, and new installation in structural building expansion joint and construction joints in vertical plane wall and head-of-wall applications.

Features & Benefits

  • Fire ratings: 2 or 3 hr fire rating in accordance with UL-2079.
  • Listed with UL 2079 for concrete, masonry, and gypsum walls.
  • Sound Attenuation: minimizes sound transfer and features Sound Transmission Class (STC)/ Outdoor/Indoor Transmission Class (OITC) sound transmission coefficients that can meet or exceed that of the assembly into which they are installed.
  • Easily handles changes in plane and direction.
  • Silicone ribs and field-applied sealant band ensures a watertight application.
  • Accommodate structural movement up to +/-50%.
  • A wide range of standard colors and custom colors are available.
